Future Porto metro project – the Rubi Line

The Porto metro system has announced the projected construction of a new metro line that will link Santo Ovído and the Casa da Música. This project will include eight new stations, two tunnels and a new bridge over the Douro River at an estimated cost of 300 million euros. The SANTA MARINHA DESIGN DISTRICT will directly benefit from a metro station to be located at the center of the traffic circle, paving the way for new leisure spaces and parking areas. This is a project that will link VINTAGE 18 to the center of Porto in 10 minutes, with construction already scheduled to begin in 2023. Learn more about the project here.
